Even Nairs staying and moving about in the same locality do not get to know each other. One reason is that Nairs do not have weekly congregations, similar to a Christian Church or a Muslim Mosque. Most Nairs are averse to having weekly Karayogam meetings, because of lack of a definite agenda. Thus lack of essential communication and interaction amongst Nair Caste Members, has made them economically & politically vulnerable. This platform is aimed at initiating and fostering interactions amongst Nair Caste members, and between individual Nairs and various Karayogams.

Sri Mannath Padmanabha Pilla seen along with his wife in this photo, took the lead and decided in 1911 that a Modern & Centralized Organization, in contrast to the older & surviving & scattered Karayogams was the need of the hour (p.15).He felt this was absolutely essential for the unity & welfare & strength of the Nair Community, thereby regaining its political ground. In the prevailing religio-socio-political-economic circumstances in Kerala & India, his vision is all the more relevant.
